when things go wrong

I help individuals who have experienced loss and/or brokenness, use hiking and the wilderness in order to find healing, wholeness, and joy. I am a Loss Momma, a published writer, and someone who connects very deeply with nature. I feel passionately that there is power in love, kindness, and gratitude. Having felt (and still do feel) the absolute epitome of brokenness, despair, and loss of the thing in my life that was the most precious, I have had to learn to completely rebuild my life, and figure out what my new reality is. I’ve had to learn to live again. Hiking, wilderness, and writing have been powerful tools in my journey, acting as my map and compass through absolute confusion. My hope, from the absolute bottom of my heart, is that this can be a safe place for you, from wherever you are coming from, to learn how to use hiking and backpacking as a way to live a complete, whole, joyous life.
